  1. what glorious photos!

  2. Beautiful flowers!

    • They are and what is showcased by nature is ever-changing. I am very new to the seasons and watching flowers, so I am enthralled to notice the same effect in the yard of our current house sit. New flowers keep popping up, while others disappear.

  3. Beautiful pictures x

  4. What a pretty place, Liesbet. 🙂 Nice to have a Saturday full of flowers. Who are the little girls?

    • The Bridge of Flowers is one of the highlights in the small, historic town of Shelburne Falls. And, the display keeps changing during the spring and summer. The little girls are the twins of my brother-in-law. They came for a wonderful long weekend over 4th July. They are the cutest! It was so nice to spend quality time with them. 🙂

  5. Beautiful flowers! I can not believe how big the twins have grown. They are ADORABLE! Nice pics of them in action.

    • I have no idea where my fascination with photographing flowers has come from. It’s not that there weren’t any pretty ones in French Polynesia and the Caribbean. I am mostly in awe of the ones in our temporary yard. I enjoy them every day, and the life it brings: butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. 🙂 It is so nice to be closer to the twins and be somewhat of a part of their lives… Until we head west.

      • I think you have more variety of flowers there than you had in the Caribbean or Polynesia. When do you think you will head west?

        • We plan to head west in the fall (our fall :-)). Communicating with a young couple near Sacramento as of now about a three month sit starting in October. Have an uneventful sail to Indonesia! Looking forward to the stories and photos! xxx

  6. What a pretty place, Liesbet. Decent to have a Saturday brimming with flowers.Little girls are so cute….Beautiful blossoms! I can not trust how enormous the twins have developed.

    • Flowers wilt, but come back alive again a year later. Kids grow and develop into adults faster than one might like. Mark and I sometimes say that it is good we don’t have children, because we would feel and notice ourselves getting older even more! 🙂

  7. oh wow I remember going here years ago . . . .had long forgotten the name of the town but never forgot the bridge. Thank you for taking me down memory lane.
