The fruits of our labor have been very tasty in the form of a small selection of vegetables we produced in our (current) yard. It was our first ever attempt at gardening…
My Six Word Saturday is full of vegetables. How is yours?

Thank you, Kathe. We just picked five cherry tomatoes… 🙂 I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Those tomatoes looks like they’re going to be delicious. One of the things I really miss about owning a home is having a garden.

These tomatoes, when ripe, taste what tomatoes should taste like. Really yummy! Maybe you can try to grow a little garden under the dodger? Especially at a marina, where you are always in the same position to the sun, it might be doable to grow some herbs or cherry tomatoes. We were relatively successful with basil, mint and spinach when on Irie.

Thanks, Jo. Only a week or so later and some of it is a tangled mess! 🙂

I’ve had tomatoes from my sister’s (massive) garden that were no more flavorful than those from the 3-4 plants my mother grew on her back porch. Enjoy!

Yum! I guess the size of the garden doesn’t really matter for the taste. 3-4 plants must have produced a nice amount as well, Ron. We only have a few ripe ones a week, but at some point later in the season, I think that will easily triple, based on the flowers and green specimen. Good for the home owners when they come back in September! 🙂
