A Life Less Ordinary

Back in the Swing of Things

Wow! I feel totally “deblogged” after an absence of over a week and not writing about much else than the A-Z Blogging Challenge lately. But, I am back. Well, almost anyway. Still getting re-settled in our current home. My three week visit to Belgium has come to an end and I have returned into the arms of my wonderful husband who remained in New England. Now, our long-term house sit in Heath, MA can start in earnest. Even the sun arrived with rays of pure bliss. I love all these warm embraces. The scenery has turned from deep brown to vibrant green while I was away, and I am ready for summer!

Before I report on some Belgian and local experiences, however, I have something totally different to share. Some kind of introduction. To myself, delivered in an original package, and to a blogger/poet/writer/daydreamer I met online not too long ago. His name is Alistair Lane – call him Al – and he is the funny and talented poet of “A Certain Point of View” and “Alistair Lane Writes” . I enjoy reading his work and musings, more often than not cracking a smile in the process. He produces a Sunday series called “The Dirty Dozen”, in which he interviews extraordinary people… like me. 🙂

Last Sunday, I was in the “hotseat” of Al. You can read his interview with yours truly here. The questions were a bit challenging; the answers honest and straightforward as ever. Do you have any insights to share?

    • Thanks, Jo! Hubby had to go to Florida today and tomorrow to deal with some work stuff, but should be back tomorrow night. Temperatures are starting to climb and with it, my intentions to write and to explore. 🙂

  4. Entertaining interview!

  5. Loved the questions and I thought you answered brilliantly! Good luck with your book and welcome ‘home’.

    • Thank you, Sue. It is good to be “home”. Now it is seriously time to seriously start writing again, before nobody will take me serious again! 🙂

  6. Congratulations on the feature! Off to read it now!
