A Life Less Ordinary

Wordless Wednesday – Frame

I have decided to post photos of past travels in general and our eight year sailing adventure on SV Irie in particular for Wordless Wednesdays. I hope you enjoy them. Also, I can’t manage completely “wordless”, but I try my best at “almost wordless”. 🙂

Since I have archived thousands of photos over the years and can’t easily pick what to post, I use the weekly prompt of the Daily Post to inspire my Wordless Wednesdays. This week’s Daily Post photography theme is “frame“.  And, no, I couldn’t just pick one photo! 🙂

Do you have as hard a time as me making choices and decisions? Or does that depend on what the situation is?

  1. What great pictures for this prompt! The first one is so fun… nice of the park to set up such a great photo op!

  2. Some things I can decide on quickly, others I agonize forever over. Personally, I’m glad you didn’t just pick one photo. I like the contrast of the different frames.

    • I do think it is somewhat of a female attribute to contemplate and agonize over decisions more often. I won’t even talk about second-guessing my choices when finally made… Being able to decide quickly is so productive. 🙂

  3. Great photos as always! I have a hard time with decisions and often second guess myself… But it just causes too much thinking so I’m trying to be better at making a decision and being happy with it!

    • Exactly, Lucy! While I can be full-heartedly impulsive at things, I hate all the time and emotions that go into making most decisions. And then there are all the things in life that throw you off after you finally made a decision… Here’s to happy decisions! 🙂

  4. The first is the stand out winner. I’m a bit of a believer in less is more, Liesbet, but like yourself I do often find it hard to stop. 🙂 Have a great weekend!

    • The less is more principle is a great one, Jo. I am pretty good at it when it comes to belongings and frugal living, but not so much when it comes to writing and posting photos! There is just so much to share… 🙂 Hope you are having a good weekend as well.

  5. Love, love love the images and happy to have traveled in a couple of those places with you. Hope we have the opportunity to travel together again. I only have problems making really, really big decisions – like it took me 3 years from ‘dream to setting sail’. I went back and forth a lot on that one. Otherwise, decisions are super easy for me. My sister is the opposite and and can mull over a decision for a long, long, long, long time.

    • So, any regrets or second guessing about that decision that took you three years to make? Just kidding! I do know the answer to that and I am very excited and happy for you that living that dream is lasting longer than making the decision. It would be so awesome to travel together again. And, that first shot is all thanks to you!! Which makes me realize that I did not give you credit for it… First photo taken by Lisa Dorenfest!
